Get well soon John!

John Tumilowicz recently got an upgraded knee. Please wish him get well soon!

John, the health department told me it wasn’t allowed to share a pen for a card.

So, I created this page and had members and friends say to few words.

  1. Get well soon John. I’m constantly impressed by your selfless service to our students and community. I’m grateful to be able to work with you and learn from you.
Now get better and get back out there.
    May God Bless you.

  2. Best wishes for a speedy recovery with your knee replacement surgery! Be faithful with the physical therapy – it really works! Al had both knee replaced four months apart and went to physical therapy 3 times a week and healed quickly. So sorry about the pain, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel! I promise to keep you in my prayers every day. Blessings on you for a good and quick recovery!

    1. John, hopefully a side effect of this surgery will be to remove you from the ranks of “grumpy old men”. If it works, let me know, I need it too. Get well soon. Our prayers are with you.

  3. John, best regards and prayers for a speedy and pain free recuperation, in a couple of more weeks you’ll be loving life again. As others have said prior, PT is the best medicine.

  4. Best wishes for a speedy recovery. You will be able to get in and out of your J-3 Cub much easier now!

Just out of curiosity, were you able to find PMA replacement parts or did you take advantage of AC 23-27?

There are certainly worse reasons of late to be grounded. Hang in there; you’ll be aloft again before you know it!

  11. John,

I heard that pushing rudder pedals on a tail-dragger is the most effective Physical Therapy available.

  12. I knew I should have offered you a chair the other day at my hangar. Guess you’re just a stubborn old fool like me.
